Once your website is live, your business keeps changing, and the site needs to keep up, whether that’s a new photo or a whole new page. Care is our name for website maintenance after launch: it’s how those changes get made. We make them for you, one job at a time, with no plan to sign up to.
Demo — Your Business
A year of changes to the website of Your Business, as a text conversation beside the site. In March the business sends a new photo: we send the price, they say yes, and the photo goes onto the site in place of the old one. In June it is a new phone number, in September Saturday opening hours, and in November a new service, each priced and agreed the same way. At the end of the year the © in the site’s footer turns over to the next year.
Website maintenance services, one job at a time
Our website maintenance services work per job. When you need something changed, you tell us what it is, and we tell you the price before any work starts. Then you decide whether to go ahead.
There are no monthly or yearly plans, so nothing renews on our side and nobody is ever locked in. Some months your site won’t need anything at all, and at other times you’ll want several changes at once. Paying per job means you pay when there’s work to do, and only for changes you’ve asked for and agreed to.
Why changes come to us
Our sites are custom-coded, so changes are usually made by us. That means you don’t need to learn how your site works to keep it current. You send us what’s changed in your business, in your own words, and we change the site to match.
How a change works
Email or call with what you’d like changed. Send the new words or photos if you have them, or tell us what you’re after and we’ll work it out with you. We come back with a price, and once you say yes, we make the change and let you know when it’s live.
A job can be as small as a new phone number or as large as a new page. Each one is priced on its own. If you’re not sure how big a change is, ask, and we’ll tell you what it involves and what it would cost before you decide.
Domain and hosting renewals
On a website we built, the domain and hosting are in your name, and you own them. Their renewals are paid straight to the providers, so those bills come to you directly, separate from any work we do. You pay us once for the site itself, and after that only for the changes you choose.
